Hawaii Kai to Sand Island – 16 miles

Results

Divisions: OC-1, OC-2, Surfski, SS-2, SUP, Prone paddleboard, V-1.

There will only be a long course and no crafts with more than 2 persons.

Male, female and age groups according to standard KIRA categories.

PRE REGISTRATION ONLY at www.flpregister.com.

Limit is 100 paddlers.

Registration closes Wednesday July 08 at midnight, or when the first 100 paddlers have registered.

Cost is $25.00 per entry inclusive of processing fees. $12.00 for juniors. If you do not have ACA annual insurance, you have to purchase the one time insurance for $5.00 and sign the attached waiver:

There may be multiple check in and start times with paddlers grouped according to speed ranking from past performances. After registration closes there will be an email to all registered paddlers with a general notice and the starting lists. You will NOT be contacted individually so watch for email(s).

Race check in is at Hawaii Kai. Check in waves will start at 8:00 a.m. and will be in half hour increments. You must arrive during your prescribed check in window.

If multiple starts are required, each race wave will start a half hour after the prescribed check in time ends.

Everyone must wear a mask at check in and must practice social distancing.

If you are sick and/or have a fever do not come. Your entry fee will be refunded.

AFTER THE RACE. There will not be a gathering for awards or lunch. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO CLEAN UP AND IMMEDIATELY GO HOME. Results will be posted on Facebook and Instagram in the evening.

Race may cancel at any time prior to the event due to the status of COVID-19.
